Keep on Keepin’ On

Life success has far more to do with endurance than with ability or opportunity. You only reach life’s greatest goals if you keep on keepin’ on!

Maybe you heard about the frog that fell into the bucket of milk and could not jump out. All his deep-throated “friends” told him he might as well give up - he was done for. But the frog kept jumping and churning and trying – determined that he would not go down without a struggle. After hours of strenuous effort he had churned the milk into butter and he simply walked out on top of it!

The apostle Paul was in prison and threatened with execution when he wrote God’s encouraging word to us: “Forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13-14
