Faith: Satisfaction with Nothing Less than God’s Best

Are your life-goals supernaturally sized or just status quo? The Bible says God is able to accomplish infinitely more than we would dare to ask or hope for.

C. S. Lewis stated that our real problem is not that we desire too much, but rather that we are satisfied with so little. We’re content making mud-pies in the ghetto when God wants to give us a vacation on the beach. God wants to give us the fullness of joy in His friendship and infinite pleasure from His hand but we would rather pacify ourselves with empty pleasures of life. Our disappointments are often the result of holding meager expectations.
