Faith: A Burden, or a Relief?

Does your faith give you wings, or chains? True faith sets you free - religious tradition just burdens you. Jesus did not come to give you a list of rules or a set of rituals to trap you in religious bondage! Jesus said: “The thief comes to kill and steal and destroy. I came to give you life -- life abundant” (John 10:10) “and to give you my joy!” (John 15:11; 17:13) But those who trust religious experience are burdened, shackled and fearful.

Infinite life is not produced by self-effort – even religious effort! It is supernatural living in a loving, faith relationship with Jesus Christ. This relationship starts with getting rid of faith in your own ability and trusting Jesus to free you from the things that drag your life down.
