Faith’s Power Depends Upon Placement

A popular quote says: “If you can believe it, you can achieve it!” But is that really true? Does the sincerity of our beliefs make something true? This thinking may be inspiring, but it doesn’t work in life or eternity.

I may believe sincerely that I’m more powerful than a speeding locomotive, but stepping into the path of a train crushes my fantasy. A skydiver confidently jumping from a plane wearing a backpack of rocks can’t slow his fatal plunge by positive thinking. Faith is powerful and effective, if placed in the right object. Your faith is no more powerful than what you place it in!

The Bible says of Jesus Christ: “Whoever believes in Him has eternal life!” (John 3:16) What you believe is the most important factor in all of life.
