Handling Failure Successfully

What do Babe Ruth, Christopher Columbus, and Thomas Edison have in common? Aside from “fame, greatness, success” they were frequent failure Triers. Babe Ruth was not only the homerun king, but also the strike-out king. Columbus was the original American: He didn’t know where he was going. He didn’t really get where he thought he did. And he did it all on borrowed money. Of course Edison was in the dark on many failed experiments.

The Bible says “Let endurance do its good work…” Every success is reached by wading through some deep messes and failures. Failure is one tool that every high-achiever learns to use and value!

No failure, but quitting, is final; in fact it’s an essential step to great goals. Overcoming obstacles takes faith to view failure as a springboard rather than a roadblock. Failure is one experience we will all share in worthwhile pursuits so let’s learn all we can about handling it successfully.
