Faith Inherits The Fringe Benefit of Everything

“Do you have every thing that you need?” If we live for things, we never have enough; because our appetite for things always screams “more, newer, better!” Maybe you can identify with what Henny Youngman said: "I've got all the money I'll ever need -- if I die by four o'clock."

But Jesus asks in Matthew 6:32 “Why be like the pagans who are so deeply concerned about these things? Your heavenly Father already knows all your needs, and he will give you all you need from day to day if you live for him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern.

Notice that Jesus indicates that the first thing you really need is a Heavenly Father to take care of you. Then He encourages you not to stress out over material things. In fact, he calls that pagan! Then He promises that if you spend your life building the Kingdom of God, He will supply the daily resources to keep you building!

What are you building with your life: A personal empire or the Kingdom of God. If you build the Kingdom of God, the fringe benefit is “everything!”
