Jerry Jacobs Bio

Jerry Jacobs was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, and has lived all his life in Hamilton County, west of Aurora, Nebraska. He worked on a farm for a number of years and started farming with his father in 1989. He has always had an interest in photography and has taken pictures since he was a teen. This has developed into a part-time career in photography, but in two vastly different areas. During the summer months when he can get away from the farm, he travels up to four nights a week, photographing car races in the central Nebraska area and selling the photos. But at other times, you can find him on a remote road in the middle of nowhere, photographying nature and landscapes. He likes to drive or hike on lesser-known areas and see what he can find. "The good Lord provides an always-changing, beautiful earth, and if you look hard enough, you can always see something new and exciting."
